So this is where it all begins, me with an '04 R1 that I love, but needs an MOT and has started to make a disturbing top end rattle. Time to sell I think, so I have started scanning the press for info on the new R1, sure that I will be buying another one -my third this century.
My initial research is quite positive, a great review in MCN-going to be bike of the year they say, Bike magazine had a short piece on it and they like it.
I make plans to see one in the flesh, just after I clear the buying plan with the Duchess (my wife).
